Mr. Miller is a graduate of Grand Rapids Baptist College and Western Michigan University where he earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in music theory and composition. He has served as a faculty member at Grand Rapids Baptist College, Valencia Community College, Trinity Preparatory School, and, since 2004, at TGS, where he directs The Geneva Consortium. Mr. Miller also maintains an active schedule working as the Artistic Director of the Central Florida Youth Orchestra and the Metropolitan Area Youth Symphony. Mr. Miller’s compositions have been performed by The Geneva Rhetoric Choir, The Cathedral Choir at St. Luke’s Cathedral, the Florida Young Artists’ Orchestra, the Orlando Concert Band, the Maitland Symphony Orchestra, and numerous other ensembles.

Mrs. Miller has been a music teacher and choral conductor at TGS since 2004. She is a staff singer at The Cathedral Church of St. Luke and has been a private voice and piano teacher for 18 years and a choral conductor for 11 years. Mrs. Miller holds a B.Mus. degree in vocal performance from Cornerstone University with a minor in piano. She was selected to sing with the Carnegie Hall Workshop Chorus in 2002 and 2004, performing under Maestros Andre Previn and Charles Dutoit. Mrs. Miller was featured as a soloist at Carnegie Hall in the summer of 2008, performing with the Florida Young Artist Orchestra. In June of 2008 Mrs. Miller led the TGS Rhetoric Choir on a successful tour of Austria, giving concerts in Mittersill, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Melk, and Vienna.
Rachel Durrum (ECC Music Instructor)

Mrs. Durrum joined the music faculty at The Geneva School, teaching music and movement at the early childhood campus, in 2011. She also teaches many of Geneva’s wonderful violin students through private lessons. Mrs. Durrum began her study of the violin as a child and continued her musical career at Rollins College, majoring in Music Performance and simultaneously earning her Florida teacher certification in Music K–12. While at Rollins, she enjoyed performing in many groups including the Rollins Orchestra and String Ensemble, where she served as the concertmaster. In addition to violin performance, Rachel also studied vocal performance. After graduation in 2001, Rachel taught orchestra classes in Brevard and Orange county public schools. She left the school system to start a family, but continued to teach private lessons.
