Throughout history, if a person wanted to learn to play an instrument they would seek out another person who was proficient in the same instrument and study with them. This relationship with a tutor is the cornerstone of learning in the instrumental music world. For students who do not currently play an instrument but would like to begin, The Geneva Consortium can assist with finding a private instructor. Many instructors choose to teach from their home, but several teachers are currently offering lessons on The Geneva School campus during the afternoon hours.
If you are interested in finding a private teacher and exploring the wonderful world of instrumental music, please contact Mr. Miller. He will assist you in finding a suitable teacher to get you started on your journey. Each teacher administrates his/her own teaching schedule and sets his/her own instruction fee. If you do not see a teacher for the instrument you are interested in, do not be discouraged. We have many contacts in the Central Florida community and will happily help you find a teacher.
