The Geneva School’s grammar school sports program exists to give students the opportunity to play sports in a safe environment, allowing them to experience the social benefits of being part of a team and giving them the opportunity to glorify and honor God by using the talents he has given them. The discipline that comes from practicing and being part of a team will benefit each child as they grow and learn in a structured and competitive environment.
A variety of sports are offered to our grammar school students. Our hope is that students in pre-K through third grade become familiar with the various sports and eventually choose the sport, or sports, they enjoy playing as they progress to the fourth through sixth grades. Teams in grades four through six are placed in leagues that provide the best competitive atmosphere and appropriate skill level for the individual teams.
