At The Geneva School, we view each student as an individual created by God, and strive to understand them not only on an academic level, but also as a social and spiritual being.  The goal of the college counseling program is to ensure every student’s opportunity to explore career interests and opportunities in order to select appropriate possible college majors. Thus, based on this information in its entirety, determine specific colleges and universities that are an excellent match for each individual.

The focus of the counselor is on the eleventh and twelfth grade students, in addition to more limited interaction with the students in eighth through tenth grade.  The counselor meets with the juniors and seniors on a regular basis (as a group and individually) to discuss various matters relevant to college.

Parental communication/interaction is highly advocated and welcome. Meetings and phone conferences are encouraged and occur on a regular basis.
