The time is drawing near when Geneva’s seventh-grade students will travel up to North Florida to enjoy a few days exploring the natural beauty of our home state.
The cost of this trip is $335 per student, and we are hopeful that every seventh-grade student will be able to participate. The cost includes transportation, accommodations, food, and activity fees. Gas is a big factor in the cost of this trip, and since the price of gas in October is a huge unknown right now, it is possible that we have over estimated the cost of the trip. If that turns out to be the case, we will refund any overage back to parents after all the bills have been paid.
We believe this will be an educationally rich and spiritually uplifting time for the students, as well as a time for them to strengthen relationships with one another and the staff members who will accompany them.
The deadline to sign up is Friday, August 18. To do this, please fill out and return the Consent and Release Form to Sarah Cloke with a deposit of $100 (checks should be made payable to The Geneva School). The balance of $235 will be billed to your account and will appear on your September statement. If you would prefer to pay everything upfront, that is fine. All monies for the trip must be paid by September 10.
Robbie Andreasen and Sarah Cloke will be available in the D/R Science Lab to answer questions about the trip at 8:30 pm following the Dialectic and Rhetoric Fall Open House on Monday, August 25.
If you have any questions prior to the informational meeting, please do not hesitate to contact Sarah at
