All Geneva School rhetoric students and faculty will begin the 2008-2009 school year by spending a few days together at Camp Kulaqua near Gainesville, FL.  The purpose of this retreat is to promote the relationships among students, faculty, and administration.  The rising ninth graders and a some new students will be joining the rhetoric school, and a few new teachers will be joining our faculty.  These three days are designed to foster these relationships in the relaxing and informal setting of a Christian camp.

The retreat is scheduled for the first three days of school, Wednesday–Friday, August 13–15.  Students and chaperones will leave school on Wednesday morning and return home Friday afternoon, arriving back about 3:30 pm.

Cost: In order that every student in grades 9–12 is able to attend, the school is underwriting the cost of the retreat considerably.  The cost per student for the retreat is only $60.  This will include transportation to Camp Kulaqua, six meals, lodging, and activities. Students are asked to bring a sack lunch with them on Wednesday which they will eat when they arrive at Camp Kulaqua.

Please return the Field Trip Consent and Release form with a check made payable to The Geneva School by Friday, May 15.

More detailed information regarding the specifics of the trip will be mailed home later in the summer.
