Aftercare is offered for students in grades Pre-K–6 every day after school until 5:30 pm except on days with an Early Dismissal, when it will not be offered at all.  Any other exceptions to this will be publicized ahead of time.  Aftercare for students in Pre-K & K is held at the Early Childhood Campus and for students in grades 1–6 at the main campus.  Snacks are provided.

Although Aftercare is offered on an as-needed basis, those families using it on a regular basis are asked to fill out the Aftercare Information and registration Form and return it prior to the first day of school.  If you do not use Aftercare regularly, please send a note with your child, email your child’s teacher, or if really last minute, call the school (ECC: 407-657-0259, Main Campus: 407-332-6363) and inform them of your child’s needs for afterschool care.  Please state in your communication the day your child(ren) will be participating in Aftercare and the approximate time you expect to pick them up.

Children who are not picked up by 3:20 pm (grades 1–6) at the main campus will be taken to Aftercare, and applicable fees charged to the family’s account.  Families of Pre-K and K students must pre-arrange Aftercare needs prior to the end of the school day.

Aftercare fees will be charged as follows:

• Pre-K: $5 per hour (or any portion thereof) until 5:30 pm.
• Kindergarten: $5 per hour (or any portion thereof) until 5:30 pm.
• Grades 1–6: $6 from 3:20–4:30 pm (or any portion thereof) and $5 for the next hour (or any portion thereof).

Fees will be added to your monthly statement.  (Those of you on an annual tuition plan will receive a monthly Aftercare bill when it is used.)  A late fee of $1 per minute will be assessed for every minute after 5:30 pm.  (The time will be determined by the Aftercare worker’s cell phone.) 

Safety gates will be put around the main campus by 3:20 pm  Therefore, when you arrive to pick up your children from Aftercare, please park and walk in to pick them up from either the playground or room 141.  Students may not be released from Aftercare until they are signed out by either a parent or an adult designated on the Authorization for Pick-Up form.
