Annual Fund

20141124_HalloranD_0008Annual Fund—Every Gift Matters

Each dollar given to the Geneva Annual Fund has an immediate impact on our students, the school’s highest priority. The Geneva Annual Fund fuels the operating budget of the school, namely in the areas of academic, artistic, and athletic programming, financial aid, and operational needs. Gifts of all sizes are vital to sustaining the distinctives of a Geneva education.

Each year, as with every independent school, the cost to provide a Geneva education exceeds the tuition charged. The board of governors since the beginning has been committed to providing a Christian classical education accessible to as many students as possible.  This philosophy allows for a vibrantly diverse socio-economic student body and presents fruitful academic and social opportunities that would otherwise not be possible.

Whatever the size of the gift, each one represents a shared vision for a Geneva education. Every gift matters.

Your tax-deductible gift to the Annual Fund immediately impacts the lives of our students, faculty, and staff. Sharing your blessings provides the difference between the amount generated in tuition and the cost of a Geneva School education. Tuition and fees represent approximately 86% of the school’s operating budget.  A significant portion of the remaining budget is derived from our Annual Fund Campaign.  These gifts must be renewed each year as the school builds on its mission.

Geneva appreciates gifts to the Annual Fund at all levels.

Giving levels are listed below:

Knights’ Roundtable: $1–$499
Governors’ Club: $500–$999
Dorothy Sayers Society: $1,000–$4,999
Corem Deo Circle: $5,000–$9,999
Founders Circle: $10,000–$24,999
Non Nobis Society: $25,000 or more

Payments may be made in one or more installments during the school year. Please make your final payment by June 30. Gifts other than cash, such as stocks and securities, are also welcome, including corporate matching gifts. Many employers will match your charitable contribution to The Geneva School. Simply submit a matching gift form available through your Human Resource Department. Recognition for you will be at the value plus any match.
