Upper School Enrichment Program

polybucket percussionGeneva’s enrichment program was introduced in 2013 and has proven to be a great addition to the curriculum—the students and the faculty alike look forward to Tuesday afternoons.

The enrichment classes are held at the end of the day on Tuesday. During the first quarter of the school year, these weekly sessions focus on organizational and study skills for seventh – ninth  grade students, standardized test-taking skills for students in tenth and eleventh grades, and on college essay and application writing for our senior students.

During the remaining three quarters, students are presented with several enrichment topics from which to choose. These topics are generated by our faculty who are genuinely excited to offer courses on topics they love. The goal of these sessions is truly enrichment—a break in the middle of the week to be rejuvenated and to develop new interests. Students look forward to these eclectic courses and enjoy getting to know the exciting and curious passions of our faculty.
