Second Grade Aide
In 2016, Amy Cassedy became a part of the Geneva community as a parent. In 2022, she joined the second-grade team and currently works as a teachers aide. Amy and her husband, Sean, have four children: Liam (TGS Class of '23), Ryan, Peter, and Polly (TGS Class of '28).
Amy was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She pursued her education at Virginia Tech, where she earned a BSc in family and consumer sciences. Before starting a family, she taught grades 9–12 in Loudoun County, Virginia. For a decade, Amy actively participated in the YoungLife Ministry, where she held various roles such as local high school leader and camp staff member.
After residing in Sean's hometown of Newport, RI, for seven years, the Cassedy family relocated to Florida. They attend Grace Church (ARP) in Winter Springs. In her free time, Amy finds joy in spending quality time with her family, tending to her garden, exploring new places through travel, gathering with friends for delicious meals, and engaging in playtime with Sadie, their golden retriever, and Tupper the cat.
