Christian. Classical. Excellence.
A calling to educate the whole child for life and faith
Education today often produces graduates who are underprepared for life’s challenges. We support parents who are thinking beyond the classroom—to the person their child will become. It is this shared vision that gave rise to The Geneva School.
A Conversation That
Changed the Course of Education for Generations
Late one evening in May of 1993, a small group of friends gathered to discuss the state of education in America.
As the conversation stretched past midnight, they discovered a shared vision for Christian classical education: an approach rooted in truth, goodness, and beauty. By the end of the night, The Geneva School was born.

Growth Through Faith, Perseverance, and God's Provision
Geneva opened its doors just three months later in August of 1993 with thirty-four students and five faculty members.
Through faith, perseverance, and God’s provision, the school grew steadily … expanding campuses and programs, and ultimately uniting on a beautiful 40+ acre campus in Casselberry. For more than thirty years, Geneva has remained steadfast in its mission.

the Whole Child for
Life and Faith
We believe God is concerned not only with what is built but with who we become along the way.
At Geneva, education is formation—preparing the whole child for life and faith. We look beyond knowledge alone to the kind of people our students are becoming, inspiring them to love beauty, think deeply, and pursue Christ’s calling.

Athletics: At TGS, all students K4–12th grade have the opportunity to participate in sports. TGS athletes are challenged to practice and play with purpose (to honor God in effort and attitude), with delight (to excel with their God-given abilities), and with respect (towards opponents, teammates, coaches, and officials). Our goal is to manifest Christlikeness, even in the midst of intense competition, as representatives of TGS, the church, and family.
For more information about athletics, including coaches and schedules, visit the athletics pages.
Clubs and Organizations: Geneva has a variety of clubs and organizations appealing to students with varying interests. For more information, visit the Clubs and Organizations page.

The Geneva School offers tuition assistance to families with students in kindergarten through 12th grade (students entering K4 and international students are not eligible for tuition assistance).
The Geneva School utilizes the online service of FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to help determine how much assistance the school will provide to families. In addition, TGS also accepts the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC), the Florida Empowerment Scholarship (FES), and the Gardiner Scholarship (PLSA) administered by Step Up For Students (students must meet Geneva’s admission requirements and be accepted). A family may submit an application to more than one organization. Parents are responsible for any amount not covered by scholarship and/or tuition assistance. The Geneva School does not accept the McKay scholarship.

The Geneva School has defined three boards that provide leadership and support to the school in complementary ways: a Board of Governors, a Board of Reference, and an Advisory Board.
The Board of Governors has ultimate accountability for ensuring that the mission, vision, and values on which the school was founded are progressively fulfilled and realized in all areas of school life. The members of this board are responsible for hiring a suitably qualified head of school and empowering him (or her) to direct the operation of the school in accordance with these founding principles. Working primarily through its constituent committees, it also oversees corporate governance and finances and provides leadership for major projects that support the school vision, such as the Legacy Campaign and building projects.
The purpose of the Advisory Board is to engage a more diverse group of (up to 30) people who are prepared to serve the school in their particular area of expertise or experience. The advisory board meets annually, and its members are available to the school and the board for consultation and participation in projects or committees. In some cases, the person may represent an organization that is closely aligned with the school’s vision; in others, he or she may simply be an individual who is willing to bring some much-needed resources to bear on challenges that the school faces.
The Board of Reference is made up of (up to 15) individuals who are strongly aligned with the values and vision of The Geneva School and who have agreed to lend their names and reputations to help promote the work of the school. Their names will appear in school publications and PR material, including the school website, and they undertake to endorse the school in their own circles of influence.
To read more information about each of our board members, visit the Governance pages.

From our founding in 1993, school leadership has committed to making a Geneva education available to as many students and families as possible.
This commitment comes from our belief that students who are educated in the Christian classical approach are desperately needed in our churches, communities, and country.
Our mission to inspire students “to love beauty, think deeply, and pursue Christ’s calling” is one that carries across socio-economic classifications. For this reason, we seek to make Geneva accessible to those who seek our unique and transforming education. Out of our recognition of the great diversity in families’ income and assets, we have built a tuition program that provides an adjustable rate that can meet the needs of those who apply.
Making Geneva accessible through an affordable, adjustable tuition program is a priority for school leadership and is necessary for us to fulfill our mission. We know that private schooling requires a significant investment in a child’s future, and at Geneva, we seek to make that possible for those seeking our Christian classical education.
