How Can I Afford a Geneva Education?

Tuition and fees for the 2026–2027 school year are given below.
New Student Application Fee: $125 (non-refundable)
Due at the time of application for all grade levels.

The average Step Up For Students award in the 2025–2026 school was $8,000. The amounts in parentheses are the total Geneva tuition amounts minus $8,000.
Current families receive a $200 discount on the enrollment fee. This includes siblings enrolling for the first time.

Tuition pays toward the cost of instruction at The Geneva School.
In addition to tuition, families cover the cost of uniforms and lunch and pay an activity fee in September and January. The costs of out-of-town overnight field trips and athletic/cocurricular activities and clubs are also in addition to tuition. A variety of tuition payment options are available for parents and include annual, semester, and monthly.
Payment by credit card via FACTS is allowed; however, a convenience fee will apply.
Enrollment fees are in addition to annual tuition and reserve a student’s place at The Geneva School.
These fees purchase student textbooks and teaching supplies, and they enable the school to make financial commitments for the coming year. Re-enrolling students receive a $200 discount on the fee. Students who opt out by January 31 and then decide later to re-enroll will not receive the $200 discount. Every family pays an enrollment fee per year per student. Enrollment fees are nonrefundable.
Enrollment Fees for Families Applying for Tuition Assistance
For each new student accepted to Geneva whose family has applied for tuition assistance, a nonrefundable deposit of $100 is required toward the enrollment fee. Once tuition assistance is awarded (if any) and accepted, the balance of the enrollment fee will become due.
For current students, enrollment fees are refundable (minus $100 per child) to families who have applied for tuition assistance as long as both the following apply:
A family applies for tuition assistance by the deadline outlined on the Tuition Assistance page.
After notification from the school regarding the financial aid amount, a parent chooses not to accept the assistance offered.
The Geneva School utilizes the ISEE admission test for 5th–12th grade. This test is administered at Geneva once a month on Saturday mornings throughout the admission season.
The test is also administered at other area schools. A student may choose when and where to take the ISEE based on their family’s availability. The cost for the ISEE varies from $155 to $200 and is paid at the time of registration.
Students entering K4–4th grade are assessed for admission by TGS faculty. The admission office will call to schedule an appointment for the assessment.
The Geneva School is glad to offer three different tuition payment options:
Tuition will be paid in full by May 10.
Tuition paid in full by May 10.
Tuition will be paid in two (2) equal installments.
Tuition is paid in two equal installments: the first is due by May 10, and the second by October 10. A $70 administrative fee is added, divided equally between the two installments.
Tuition will be paid in ten (10) monthly payments.
Tuition is paid in ten monthly installments on the 10th of the month, from May through December, and then again on January 10th and March 10th. A $350 administrative fee is divided and included within these installments. No tuition payment is due in February because the re-enrollment fee is assessed that month.
