Assistant Facilities Manager / Assistant Baseball Coach
Bob has enjoyed a lifetime in baseball as both a player and a coach. He played at Palm Beach Atlantic University, winning the team’s “Rookie of the Year” award, and at the College of Boca Raton. Bob has played in and managed a national semi-professional team and led them to the league’s World Series several times.
Bob came to Geneva in 2014 and brought with him many years of coaching experience at the high school level. He coached at The Master’s Academy for ten years, seven years as the head varsity baseball coach leading the team to a district championship and several regional appearances. Bob also coached at Orangewood Christian School where he led the team to a district championship, regional championship, and eventually to the state championship game. Most recently, Bob was an assistant coach at The First Academy. Aside from his high school coaching, Bob has also coached various levels of AAU/travel ball teams. During his coaching career, Bob has coached several players who have enjoyed collegiate careers at the NCAA D1 level including several who have played in the College World Series. He has also coached players who are currently playing at different levels, including two who are currently playing in the major leagues.
Bob and his wife Janie have been married since 1988, and they have four children: Bobby, Joey, Tony, and Tiffany.
