Facilities Events Coordinator / Inventory Specialist
Crystal Prado joined the facilities team in 2025 as the facilities events coordinator and inventory specialist after serving as a second-grade teacher’s aide from 2021 to 2025. She first joined the TGS community in 2019 when her son, Dyson (TGS Class of ’32), began kindergarten, and she quickly fell in love with Christian classical education. Over the years, she has faithfully served the school community in a variety of volunteer roles, including room mom, SALT co-captain, event volunteer, and classroom support.
She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2013 with a bachelor of science in psychology. That same year, she married her husband, Luis. From 2016 to 2021, she stayed home to care for their children, Dyson (TGS Class of ‘32) and Davina (TGS Class of ’35). In October 2025, the Prado family welcomed their youngest child, Declan.
Her love for teaching and ministry began while volunteering in children’s ministry at CrossPointe Church in 2016. What started as a desire to learn how to better point her own children toward Jesus quickly grew into leadership opportunities, including teaching and leading the preschool ministry team. In 2019, Crystal began attending Proximity Church, where her love for worship and singing opened new opportunities to serve. She currently serves on the worship team and continues to support the children’s ministry as needed.
Crystal enjoys using her creativity, organizational skills, and heart for service to support both her school and church communities. In her free time, she enjoys worship music, crafting and creating, planning meaningful events, and spending quality time with her family.
