Athletic Director
Dan Harger has served as upper school athletic director since 1999. He also served as the long-time head coach of the varsity softball team from 1999–2022.
Coach Harger received a BA in physical education and an MA in exercise physiology from the University of Central Florida. Prior to coming to Geneva, he taught for seven years at Sterling Park Elementary School in Casselberry and spent five years coaching baseball at his high school alma mater, Edgewater.
Dan’s daughters Carolina (TGS Class of '21) and Emmy (TGS Class of '22), both Geneva graduates, are now both graduates of Palm Beach Atlantic University. Carolina recently married James Lies, (TGS Class of ’22). In the summer, Dan, the girls, and James spend as much time as possible at the beach. They all surf and love any activity in and near the water.
