Dean of Grammar School (4th–6th Grade)
Elizabeth Smith joined The Geneva School faculty in 2019. After spending four years on the fifth grade team, Elizabeth assumed transitioned to a leader role in the grammar school in 2023. She graduated from the State University of New York College at Geneseo (SUNY Geneseo) in 2005 with a double major in elementary education and English. She then went on to earn a master’s degree in liberal studies from SUNY Stony Brook. Elizabeth spent seventeen years in the classroom with experience in all areas, including high school and middle school. In addition to her time at Geneva, she taught in New York for ten years and at Orangewood Christian School for three years.
Elizabeth and her husband, Greg, live in Casselberry with their children, Audrey (TGS Class of 2029) and Everett (TGS Class of 2032). She and her family attend Orlando Grace Church and like to spend time at Disney and the beach. Elizabeth enjoys cooking, baking, reading, and traveling.
