Sixth Grade Teacher
Emily Allen joined the sixth grade team in 2018. She served as the aide for four years before transitioning in 2022 to sixth grade teacher. She graduated from Wheaton College with both her BA and MA in Christian Education. Emily focused her studies on adolescence and how to help young people grow to be whole and effective Christians. After graduating, Emily worked at a crisis pregnancy center for five years where she was the director of abstinence education. She oversaw a team that taught the message of abstinence to school classes and youth groups all over the Chicago suburbs. She also spent her time at the crisis pregnancy center, counseling young women and their families through their time of crisis.
Emily and her husband Michael have two boys at Geneva: Jackson ’28 and Will ’32. Their family enjoys playing and listening to music, as well as playing and watching sports in their free time. They attend NewCity Orlando, where Emily is involved in the children’s ministry.
