Jill earned a BS in elementary and early childhood education from Grove City College and joined The Geneva School faculty in 2006. Her certifications include elementary education, early childhood education, and middle school mathematics. During her time at TGS, Jill has taught third grade, fourth grade, and early childhood Spanish. In her role as dean of grammar school curriculum, she supports the administration and faculty of the school in a variety of ways including curriculum selection and implementation, scheduling, data analysis, and coordinating her favorite day of the school year—the Spelling Bee.
Jill loves learning new things and delights in sharing this love of learning with others. She has interests in a number of creative areas including handcrafts and making music. She plays the piano, flute, oboe, handbells, and ukulele and enjoys singing. Most weekends she and her husband can be found taking in the local sights or completely absorbed in good books.
