First Grade Aide
Lee Cooper joined the first grade team as an aide in 2026. She earned a bachelor's in political science and communication studies from Furman University and previously worked as a stewardship advisor for CURE International.
Lee is passionate about Christian education and considers it a joy to help young children grow in wisdom, character, and a love for God. As a first grade aide at The Geneva School, she delights in partnering with teachers and families to cultivate a nurturing, Christ-centered learning environment where students can flourish.
Lee is a sixth-generation Floridian, born and raised in DeLand. She and her husband, Barry, worship at Christ Community Church in Daytona Beach where Barry serves as the lead pastor. Lee serves on the prayer team and the missions committee, and she co-leads a women's Bible study. She is the mother of two girls: Addy (Class of 2037) and Milly (Class of 2039).
