First Grade Aide
Lisa Parkin joined the Geneva family as a parent in 2024 and deepened that connection in 2026 when she joined the first grade team, serving as a teachers aide.
Originally from Tampa, Lisa has called Orlando home since graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2009 with a degree in journalism. Throughout her career, she has worked in newspaper editing, social media management, and entrepreneurship, including launching and operating a book subscription box business. Her love of learning, reading, and encouraging young minds melds perfectly with her desire to serve students, families, and teachers at The Geneva School.
Lisa and her husband, Tim, are college sweethearts and have been married since 2010. They are grateful to be raising their daughter, Ruby (class of ’37), as part of the Geneva community.
A lifelong reader, Lisa also enjoys journaling, traveling, discovering new coffee shops, and sharing book recommendations with fellow readers. The Parkin family attends and serves at Summit Church: Lake Mary.
