Ruthie Andreacchi

Sixth Grade Teacher

Ruthie Andreacchi joined The Geneva School faculty in 2020. After teaching first grade for one year and fourth grade for five years, she currently serves as team lead in sixth grade. Since coming to Geneva, Ruthie’s love for Christian classical education has deepened and matured. She is passionate about cultivating wisdom and virtue in her students and recognizing each child as an image bearer of Christ. Ruthie is committed to educating the whole child—academically, spiritually, and relationally—guiding students not only toward knowledge but toward truth, goodness, and beauty in light of the gospel.

Ruthie was born in New York and moved to Florida during high school, where she attended Altamonte Christian School. She earned a BA in elementary education from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 2008 and is state certified. Additionally, Ruthie is endorsed in English for Speakers of Other Languages and Reading K–12 and holds a certificate in supervising student teachers. The 2026–2027 school year marks her fourteenth year of teaching.

Prior to Geneva, Ruthie taught kindergarten, second grade, and third-grade remedial reading at Choices in Learning Elementary Charter School. While teaching kindergarten, she fostered a love of learning in her young students as they experienced school for the first time. She later moved to second grade, where she served as team leader and mentored first-year teachers. During this time, she also partnered with UCF’s teacher mentorship program, welcoming interns into her classroom each semester and discovering a passion for helping new teachers grow and thrive. While teaching students remains her highest priority, mentoring and encouraging fellow educators has become a close second. At Geneva, Ruthie continues to invest in her colleagues, supporting the grammar school community and contributing to a culture of thoughtful, Christ-centered teaching.

Ruthie is dedicated to being a lifelong learner, modeling for her students the curiosity and wonder that are central to a classical education. She strives to shepherd her students’ hearts while challenging their minds, equipping them to love what is true and to live faithfully.

Ruthie and her husband, Doug, live in Oviedo with their two children, Anthony (TGS Class of ’29) and Giuliana (TGS Class of ’31). Together, their family attends Action Church. In her spare time, Ruthie enjoys relaxing by the pool, crafting, reading, and painting.
