She also served as an enthusiastic member of the board of governors from 2014–2019. She is very engaged with the parent community, having her last child at the school, Baker ’27. Her oldest daughter, Emily (TGS Class of 2020), is a 2024 Baylor University graduate in elementary education and currently teaches third grade at Geneva. Her second child, Kate (TGS Class of 2022), graduated Clemson University in 2026 and is working at an accounting firm in South Carolina. She worked in the healthcare industry for over twenty-two years in a variety of roles with Merck, Boston Scientific, and Amgen. Her favorite undertaking, however, has been serving Geneva as the director of admissions and meeting the wonderful families who are choosing Christian classical education for their own children.
