Every year, the senior class finishes off the year with a trip together.
Trip Information
Dates: May 15–20, 2026
Trip Leader: Scott Thigpen
Cost: $700 (added to FACTS and billed in three installments in February, March, and April)
For the fourteenth consecutive year, Scott Thigpen will to lead the senior trip! Each year the seniors, along with faculty and staff, go on a North Carolina adventure that takes place between the last AP exam and before baccalaureate and graduation. It’s a wonderful way for students to end their Geneva journey!
The seniors will depart from school on Friday, May 15, after the academic awards ceremony. They are headed to the Kanuga Retreat Center in Hendersonville, North Caroline, and will return on Wednesday afternoon, May 20. Activities will include hiking, swimming, waterfalls, bonfires, and other shenanigans. Students will choose from one of two planned activities: whitewater rafting on the Chattooga River or a visit to the Biltmore Estate. Please contact Mr. Thigpen if you have any questions.
