Spring Season

Beach Volleyball

Beach Volleyball

The varsity beach volleyball team aims to compete at a high level. Since its beginnings in 2017, the team competes well against other local programs and continues to grow in numbers. In addition to the varsity team (5–7 pairs), we have a JV program working alongside the varsity players throughout the spring. The varsity team won the SSAC regional championship in 2019 and has competed in the FHSAA since 2022 (when FHSAA recognized beach volleyball as an official sport).

Softball

Girls Softball

The Knights softball program is about playing hungry, staying competitive, and having a great time! The coaches know the game well and understand what it takes to compete each season. They endeavor to have a competitive schedule in order that the girls and coaches are put to the test each time they step on the diamond. The coaches nurture a spirit of love and respect within the team, and together they strive toward the goal of winning and, more importantly, glorifying God through softball. The team was district champion in 2022.

Tennis

Boys & Girls Tennis

The Geneva tennis program cultivates a fun and exciting atmosphere in which to take a player’s skills to the next level through quality instruction and healthy competition. Players with or without experience can be a part of our tennis program. Those demonstrating the most skill can compete for the school with the support of an enthusiastic and supportive team. Varsity and JV tennis are open to players in 6th–12th grade.

Under Luke Russo’s leadership, both the boys and girls teams have excelled. Tennis training is offered at Geneva year-round. The girls team was district champion in 2022 and the boys have had success, with multiple regional and state tournament appearances over the years.

Track & Field

Boys and Girls Track & Field

The mission of Geneva’s track & field team is to provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment for student-athletes to have a positive and meaningful experience participating on a middle and high school athletic team. Track & field is a lifelong sport that is accessible to all, and with eighteen events the team welcomes all to join.

The team’s training development program builds throughout the season. They train hard, recover, and repeat! The coaches truly care about the well-being of each athlete in achieving his or her own personal goals. Through hard work, dedication, determination, and perseverance, anything can happen and anything is possible! Team camaraderie is a big deal on the track & field team, and many lifetime memories are made while training and competing.

Baseball

Baseball

The baseball program at Geneva strives for excellence both on and off the field. The program aims to develop the skills necessary for every player to compete at the highest level. Whether through off-season strength and conditioning, early Saturday morning practices, or on-field play, all members of the program understand that hard work is necessary and that they play for more than just a win on the scorecard. While on-field accomplishments and postseason success are always team goals, the coaches understand that their primary objective is to use the game of baseball as a tool to help mold the boys into God-fearing young men rooted in his Word. Throughout the year, the baseball program provides many opportunities for players to train and work on their craft utilizing the great facilities on our campus.

Archery

Archery

Archery has a special way of attracting everyone, and it offers many personal benefits:

  • Anyone can participate and excel in this safe Olympic‐style sport.

  • It builds discipline, character, self‐esteem, and confidence.

  • It improves health, fitness, focus, motor control, and learning skills.

  • It fosters camaraderie, sportsmanship, and school spirit.

TGS’s archery program participates in the Olympic Archery in Schools league (OAS) with both middle school and high school teams. No prior experience is necessary.
