Barry joined the Geneva team in 2026 after a diverse career spanning military service, hospitality leadership, parks management, and church operations. A US Army veteran who served during Desert Storm, he built a twenty-five-year career in the hospitality industry, serving in a variety of leadership roles focused on operations, guest experience, and team development. He holds a bachelor's in hospitality and business administration from Eastern Illinois University. He also served as a state park manager in both Indiana and Kentucky.
Most recently, Barry served as the director of facilities for a multi-campus megachurch in South Florida, where he led facilities operations and stewardship efforts to support ministry across multiple campuses. Barry has been married to his amazing wife, Mindy, since 1992. Together, they have been blessed with six incredible children and one grandson, Boaz (a future Knight), who proudly gave Barry the title of “GPop.”
Barry is passionate about serving others, developing leaders, and creating environments where people feel welcomed and cared for. He enjoys spending time with his family, investing in the next generation, and living out his faith through servant leadership.
