Sixth Grade Teacher
Lauren Rouse joined The Geneva School’s sixth grade team in 2025 as the United States history and grammar teacher. A proud Central Florida native, Lauren attended International Community School before earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida. She went on to complete her state teaching certification and has pursued continued coursework in classroom management, learning theory and assessment, and instructional strategies. Lauren is honored to be part of The Geneva School community and delights in investing in her students both academically and spiritually.
Lauren began her teaching career at Altamonte Christian School, where she taught both fifth and first grade over the span of three years. During her time in fifth grade, she developed and taught a comprehensive US history curriculum, sparking her love for the subject and laying the groundwork for her current role.
Lauren lives in Altamonte Springs with her husband, Mitchell, and their daughter, Gracie. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball and soccer, hosting game nights, visiting theme parks, and spending quality time with her friends and family. She and her family attend Grace Church, where they host a small group together.
