First Grade Teacher
Nicole Garmer joined the first grade teaching team in 2025. She earned a BSc in early childhood education from the University of Central Florida in 2024 with a minor in American Sign Language and deaf studies. Nicole began her teaching career in 2024 at Midway Elementary School of the Arts, where she taught first grade. She is delighted to be a part of the Geneva community and deeply values the way that TGS honors its calling to serve the students they are privileged to teach and nurture.
Teaching has been a lifelong calling for Nicole, inspired by her grandparents, who were both educators. She views the opportunity to teach as a true gift from God and gives him all the glory for allowing her to walk in this calling. She believes it is a blessing to shape young minds and share God’s love in the classroom.
Outside of the classroom, Nicole enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family. In her free time, she enjoys reading, journaling, and baking sourdough bread.
