Spanish Teacher
Susan Hering teaches Spanish I–IV. Prior to joining The Geneva School faculty in 2008, she taught Spanish for ten years in Orange County Public Schools. Mrs. Hering has a BA in Spanish and Ibero-American studies from Southern Methodist University and an MA in Spanish from Middlebury College. She has studied in Madrid, Spain, and Cuernavaca, Mexico.
Susan loves to return to Madrid and to travel throughout Europe. She has two daughters who attended and graduated from TGS. The Hering family loved visiting many European sites that the girls learned about in grammar school.
Susan’s students can often be heard saying, “¿Puedo ir al servicio, por favor?”
