Debbie Halloran fell in love with The Geneva School when her son entered kindergarten in 2003. She served as a kindergarten aide for nineteen years from 2004–2023. In 2023, Debbie transitioned to the business office and now serves the school as the procurement coordinator.
Debbie grew up traveling the country as an “Air Force brat” until her dad retired from military service in 1979. She then moved to South Florida where she finished up high school. She went on to attend the University of Florida where she met her husband Tom. After marrying in 1991, Tom and Debbie moved to Alabama where Debbie finished her degree and graduated from Faulkner University with a BS in Business.
Their son John (TGS Class of 2016) attended The Geneva School from kindergarten through twelfth grade. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2020. John married Laura Contess in April 2025 and they live in Jacksonville, Florida. In her spare time, Debbie enjoys photography, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Florida Gators!
