I first experienced the blessing of The Geneva School family as a parent in 2022. The Geneva School was unlike anything my husband, Josh, and I had experienced. It struck me how much our daughter’s kindergarten teacher “saw” and prayed over our child. She had spent time asking the Lord how to reach each student in her care with the gospel, the curriculum, and the community. It was clear that the trivium was tethered to the trinity, and the TGS mission was being passionately pursued.
Though I majored in economics at the University of Miami and worked in project management, God has consistently called me into ministry in and beyond the office. After years ministering to teenagers, in 2024 I was delighted to join the rhetoric faculty and invest in students by teaching economics to twelfth graders. I pray that, through the study of economics and scarcity, my students would know our limitless God more deeply and become well equipped for his calling for their lives beyond the Geneva classroom.
As dean of students for 7th–12th grade girls, it is my joy to walk alongside these treasured daughters, to “see” them, pray for them, and witness the Lord working in their lives in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 3:9–13).
Each year, following the baccalaureate service, the grammar school and upper school faculty receive the inspired graduates with hugs, pride, and gratitude. Standing beside my daughter’s dear kindergarten teacher, the realization grows that our TGS students have been fervently prayed for from age four through eighteen. It is truly an honor to be a part of this learning community and to see Christ work for our good and his glory in every stage.
Josh and I now have all three of our children, Isla (class of ’35), Jack (class of ’37), and Noah (class of ’39), at TGS. We can usually be found at various sporting events on campus. I hope to get to know you!
