Lisel Allbee
Lisel Allbee
Dean of Students (7th–12th Grade Girls)
BS, University of Miami
Lisel graduated from the University of Miami (Go ‘Canes!) with bachelor’s degrees in economics and journalism and minors in business administration and art. Following graduation, she worked as a project cost control analyst for Northrop Grumman. Though Lisel enjoys financial analysis and spreadsheets, she feels most called to discipleship. From her time in Miami through the present, Lisel has been thankful for consistent opportunities to disciple teenagers: in Bible studies, various community and youth groups, in the Geneva hallways, and even as a middle school basketball coach for a number of years.
Lisel eventually left the defense industry for full-time ministry in 2015, first working as a donor relations manager for a local ministry, then serving her growing family and community at home for seven years. Lisel joined the rhetoric school faculty in 2024 and teaches twelfth grade economics. She is passionate about fostering an understanding of economics that applies gospel truth and equips the students well as they pursue God’s calling for their lives beyond the Geneva classroom. Lisel is also thankful for the opportunity to walk alongside students as the dean of students for 7th–12th grade girls; for each student is God’s treasured possession.
Lisel met her husband, Josh, playing recreational sports during her freshman year at the University of Miami. They married in 2011 and added Isla (class of ‘35), Jack (class of ‘37), and Noah (class of ‘39) to their team. In her spare time, Lisel enjoys spending time with her family and community, playing outside with her kiddos, cheering on the ‘Canes, and playing in a sand volleyball league.
