In second grade, students read about the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and are then given an opportunity to reenact this historical event on stage. In this play, students memorize chants, songs, and scripture to retell the story of the Exodus. The students join together to create a beautiful and worshipful performance. Doors open at 9:00 am.
After studying The Louisiana Purchase and Lewis and Clark, the students explore and "discover" the plants and animals they encounter at Leu Gardens. They record the discoveries in a field journal to turn in later.
Come as you are and join TGS moms as they pray for our TGS community. If you are a mom or grandma of a Geneva student, you are invited. No need to commit to every week; just come when you can. It really is the best way to start the week, covering our families in prayer … and establishing relationships with fellow prayer warriors. Each year, the FHSAA (Florida High School Athletic Association) requires every athlete in 6th–12th grade to have a sports physical uploaded before stepping foot on the court or field for practice. In addition, an optional EKG is strongly recommended at least once during high school.
The Geneva School, along with the generous folks at Alilin Family Medicine (AFM) Healthcare will once again be offering sports physicals and EKGs for 6th–12th grade students here on campus. Be proactive and get this done before summer! Physicals are good for 365 days, which will cover all sports during the 2025–26 school year.
It is recommended that students participating in summer workouts complete their physical beforehand, especially rising 6th graders and new students.
Cost: $30 for physical; $20 for optional EKG; cash or check to AFM Healthcare. The best part is that all of the proceeds are donated directly back to TGS athletics.
