The Geneva School Athletic Department has proudly welcomed homeschoolers to be a part of our middle school, JV, and varsity athletics for many years. The FHSAA now allows students that attend non FHSAA schools to participate with a private school of their choice. Approximately 30–40 homeschool students participate across multiple sports teams each year. We believe the key to building and maintaining relationships with our homeschool athletes and their families is treating them just like enrolled Geneva students. One team, one family: Geneva Knights!

FORMS REQUIRED BY NON-GENEVA ATHLETES
| FHSAA ONLINE ATHLETIC CLEARANCE FORM | Required for all 6th–12th grade athletes. This new online form MUST be submitted before a student may participate (including practice) in any middle school, JV, or varsity sport. |
| FHSAA Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation (EL2) | Required for all 6th–12th grade athletes. Page 2 must be completed by a physician. This form MUST be completed and uploaded during completion of the FHSAA Online Athletic Clearance Form before a student may participate (including practice) in any middle school, JV, or varsity sport. This form is valid for 365 calendar days from the date of the evaluation as written on page 2. |

| FHSAA Homeschooler Eligibility Form (EL7) | This form must be completed once each school year by all homeschoolers wishing to participate on a TGS team and uploaded during completion of the FHSAA Online Athletic Clearance Form. An athlete may not practice prior to final approval from the FHSAA. |
| Non-Member School Participation Form (EL12) | This form must be completed once each school year by all students attending a non-FHSAA school wishing to participate on a TGS team and uploaded during completion of the FHSAA Online Athletic Clearance Form. An athlete may not practice prior to final approval from the FHSAA. Please note, this form must be notarized. |
| Affidavit of Compliance with the Policies on Athletic Recruiting & Non-Traditional Student Participation | This form must be completed and uploaded during completion of the FHSAA Online Athletic Clearance Form by any new Geneva student athlete who enrolls at Geneva in 9th grade or above, regardless of whether that occurs during the school year or during the summer period between school years, including youth exchange, international, and immigrant students. Homeschool students and students attending a non-FHSAA school participating with Geneva for the first time, 9th grade or above, must also submit this form. Please note, this form must be notarized. |
