Giocoso Music (K4 & K)
Giocoso (jee-o-KOE-so) is a musical term, meaning playful, merry, humorous, joyful, or lively. It perfectly describes the aims of this after-school music club for K4 and kindergarten students.
K4 and kindergarten students experience music through sound exploration, creative play, stories, and games. Musical activities have long been shown to increase eye/hand coordination and boost confidence. Music is also very social and helps develop good friendships and self control. Each class will provide opportunities to play instruments, join in games, sing songs, wave scarves, and more!

When: Tuesdays / K4 1:15–2:15 pm and kindergarten 2:15–3:15 pm / in the lower school music room 131
1st Quarter Dates: September 2–October 14, 2025
2nd Quarter Dates: October 21–December 9, 2025
Max # of Students: 10
Fees: $100 per quarter
Please check athletic practice/game schedules. While we love having well-rounded students at Geneva, the ensemble counts on each musician to attend every rehearsal for the entire semester.
