6th Grade Williamsburg & Washington, DC, Trip
After spending two years studying American history, sixth grade students will journey to Virginia’s Historic Triangle and the nation’s capital. They will experience hands-on learning from the bounty of its museums, monuments, governmental and historical buildings, documents, and statuary. Their studies have taken them from the settling of Jamestown to the signing of the Declaration of Independence through various wars, presidents, and Supreme Court decisions. Sixth graders will walk their history timeline through Jamestown, Yorktown, and Colonial Williamsburg. They’ll take in the National Mall and explore buildings the leaders of our country have used to govern and build our nation. They will visit the Smithsonian Museums, Capitol building, and many other national treasures. This trip of a lifetime with classmates will bring to life the history of the government of our great nation.

- Cost: $2,379.00 (pricing for adults is $25 more than students). There will be an additional billing by Geneva during the spring semester (approx $35) to cover the student’s trip sweatshirt, snacks for the entirety of the trip, and picture IDs for the students to have while traveling.
