AP and Dual Credit Courses

AP Courses

As part of the school’s curriculum choices, Geneva offers the following AP courses to upper school students (all are offered to senior students except AP English Language, which is offered to juniors):

AP English Language & Composition (11th grade)
AP English Literature & Composition
AP Calculus AB
AP Calculus BC
AP Chemistry
AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism
AP Physics 2 (Algebra-Based)
AP Latin
AP Music Theory
AP 2-D Art & Design (may be taken in studio art or digital photography)
AP Drawing

All students enrolled in these yearlong courses are required to take the AP exam in May. If a student wishes to take an AP exam outside of the course offerings, he or she should contact Mr. Thigpen to seek approval.

Dual Credit with Colorado Christian University

Geneva offers two courses that are considered dual credit through Colorado Christian University:

Human Anatomy & Physiology (senior year class): CCU Course Code is BIO-201/211 (lab) & BIO-3202/212 (lab). Students earn a total of 8 college credits for this course.
General Physics: CCU Course Code is PHY-210/212 (lab). Students earn a total of 5 college credits for this course.
